Nan was rushed to hospital this morning and I received the call at around lunch to say that she had passed away.
I’ll miss you Nan, but am relieved to know you are no longer in pain. Goodbye, I love you so much and will cherish all my memories of you.
I have only slipped away
into the next room.

It’s breaking my heart to read yours and Lia’s blog atm. I read your post earlier this morning and as I said to Lia (I had read hers this morning too) that I couldn’t think of anything to say to help. Words just aren’t enough.
Now I came back to post a comment and read your new post. I am so sorry for your loss, you did the right thing seeing her one last time and you have such a beautiful memory to hold onto.
That is a beautiful photo of her too.
I can’t say anything to make it better but I can tell you I think the world of you and I am sending you big hugs and lots of love.

99 was a fine age, so at least that is something, that she lived well beyond the averages, and we can only hope as individuals, to be fortunate enough to do the same.
