Makes 5 servingsburger_turkey_small

Ingredients:
500g Turkey Mince
2 Spring Onions (green), sliced
2 tspns crushed chilli (or to taste)
3 cloves crushed garlic
1 cup grated zucchini
½ cup cooked cous cous

Method:
Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix well together with hands. Spray non-stick pan or BBQ (grill) until cooked through.

Nutritional Content per serve:
174 calories
9g fat (3g saturated)
125g sodium
7g carbohydrates (1g dietary fibre)
18g protein

Okay…scuse my ignorance here….but what is cous cous and whats it do? xox

Hi honey, this link here has all the information on couscous. I find mine near the pasta. You cook it by bringing some liquid double the amount of the couscous you are using to the boil (1 cup of couscous dry will make about 2-3 cups cooked). Then turn off the heat, add the couscous, wait until the liquid is absorbed and fluff up with rice. They also have the directions on the side of the pack. It’s delish!! xxx

Arent these just DIVINE!!!!! Little tip i discovered – after i grate the zucchini – i squeeze the shit out of the zucchini to get all the water out – makes them nice and dry and easier to cook ;)

Cool tip!! Thanks Fern… and I think I prefer my substitution of the couscous for breadcrumbs too. Of course I also added chilli in and took the lemon out because I like mine spicy!! Michelle is going to add my recipe to her database. :)
